A high-level strategy for ANSTO to support environmental sustainability

In accordance with the Trust Deed, the United Uranium Scholarship is awarded to ‘promising young scientists’ from any Australian organisation or institution whose research or work is in the field of nuclear energy.

Designed for those working with industrial gauges such as fixed radiation gauges incorporating gamma or neutron sources, portable moisture/density gauges, and borehole logging equipment incorporating radiation sources. ANSTO is a recognised leader in radiation safety training, delivering industry and regulator-approved courses for licences including S7, S10, S12, S30 & S35.

ANSTO recognised the contribution of individuals and teams to nuclear science and technology at the 2023 ANSTO Awards Ceremony held on 25 July.

Two Australian science teachers will have the chance to participate in a special two-week summer school at the Large Hadron Collider in July 2026.

This scholarship recognises outstanding ability and promise in the field of nuclear science and technology, specifically as it applies to nuclear energy. Successful applicants will demonstrate a history of interest in nuclear energy and a desire to continue this interest.
