ANSTO is engaged in international partnerships in the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology throughout the world. Our contributions help advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals in human health, agriculture, environment and industry.
This year Australia, through ANSTO, Chairs the Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research, Development and Training Related to Nuclear Science and Technology for Asia and the Pacific (RCA). The RCA is a Treaty level agreement between 22 countries in Asia and the Pacific under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Technical Cooperation Programme. The partnerships under the RCA have social and economic impact, making our region more secure, connected and prosperous.
