For over 10 years, ANSTO has successfully run a variety of quality Work Experience Programs for high school students.
ANSTO Work Experience Programs
The ANSTO Work Experience Program is extensive, interactive and hands on! It offers students a rare opportunity to engage with world-class scientists, gain exposure to working laboratories and gain insights into pioneering nuclear science research at ANSTO.
In 2024, three different Work Experience Programs will be on offer to students, running across June and October for a total duration of 1 week each. Students are responsible for any transport, accommodation, and activities outside of work experience hours. Public Transport to ANSTO is available. ANSTO is also offering the opportunity to apply for up to $500 in travel funding to encourage regional and rural based students who may otherwise not be able to apply for the program.
Engineering – ANSTO, Lucas Heights, NSW
