The 5th Asia-Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research (AOFSRR) School will be hosted by the Australian synchrotron from August 12 - 16th 2024. It is aimed at science and engineering graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers from across the Asia-Oceania region who are interested in pursuing a career in synchrotron radiation related fields. This school will present a range of lectures and practical sessions relating to the theory and applications of synchrotron radiation to a wide range of science and technology research.

X-ray diffraction
Students will go on a tour of the Australian Synchrotron and get the chance to perform hands-on experiments on a beamline.

Registration
Successful applicants will get access to:
- All lectures and practical sessions
- Travel to and from the Australian Synchrotron to Melbourne Airport via scheduled coach
- Accommodation in synchrotron guesthouse
- Meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner)
- Welcome reception, school dinner (location TBC)
