Sarah joined ANSTO in May as a part-time Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Nuclear Science and Technology group. Sarah’s role is to help organise events that showcase ANSTO’s exciting research and equipment, facilitate scientific training and provide networking opportunities for established and budding scientists.
Sarah spends the other half of her week working as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. She runs her own business where she enjoys creating practical, tailored and creative plans for her patients to improve their health. She spends a lot of time working with food intolerance and allergy, IBS and gut health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, weight loss, nutrient deficiencies, bone health, pregnancy nutrition, and more.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Medical Science, Graduate Certificate of Human Nutrition and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics. In between her studies, she also took part in an internship where she helped develop a new course for UNSW’s School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences and worked as a research assistant at The University of Canberra.
