As ANSTO’s Nuclear Medicine Development Manager, Leena leads the advancement and innovation in nuclear medicine technologies. This role is pivotal in overseeing the research, development, and implementation of cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. Responsibilities include managing development projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the integration of new technologies into manufacturing environments. By spearheading initiatives that enhance product quality and streamline operational efficiencies, Leena plays a crucial role in positioning our organisation at the forefront of medical advancements.
Prior to this role, Leena managed ANSTO’s bespoke radioisotope production capability, overseeing the establishment of infrastructure and processes to expand the range of radioisotopes available for use in medical, environmental, and agricultural research.
Leena holds a degree in Advanced Medicinal Chemistry (Hons Class 1) and a PhD in Chemistry.
