Dr David Boardman is the Chief Technology Officer & Principal Scientist for Detection & Imaging. He leads the development and commercialisation of a novel radiation imaging technology designed around the sampling theory of compressed sensing.
His expertise is in the detection of ionising radiation for a broad range of applications and he continues pursing innovative solutions in this field. David has extensive experience and knowledge in a wide range of areas, including: experimental techniques, simulations, machine learning algorithms and data analysis. Prior to working at ANSTO, David worked for the Defence Science & Technology Laboratories (DSTL) where he worked on developing non-invasive inspection technologies.
