Role at ANSTO
Chun-Ming joined the Center for Neutron Beam Applications of National Central University in 2006, and now works at ANSTO as an instrument scientist for the SIKA project to construct a cold 3-Axis Spectrometer at the new OPAL reactor. He is involved in the MCNP (Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport Code System) and McStas (Monte Carlo simulation of neutron instruments) calculations for shielding and optical devices performance simulations, respectively.
He received his Ph.D. degree in 2005 from the Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, as a member of the Biochemistry and Materials Science Lab in the Department of Chemistry. He has expertise in liquid-crystal (LC) optical behavior measurement design, biosynthesis of chemical, chemical analysis techniques including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and fermentation technology.
