During National Science Week, ANSTO is celebrating Patricia Gadd and Matthew Bell, who are finalists in the 'On the Job' competition, which recognises the people who keep Australian science moving. The public has the opportunity to vote online for one of seven nominees before 26 August 2016. The competition was organised by the Australian Academy of Science.
Patricia operates an instrument designed to analyse and image sediment and other samples, the ITRAX core scanner, which is used extensively in environmental research.
Matt is involved in designing and building components for the neutron scattering instruments and assisting in their operation.
