Today, ANSTO has featured strongly at the Australian Academy of Science's annual event "Science at the Shine Dome" - Minerals to Medicine: 100 Years of Crystallography.
Not only was ANSTO a major sponsor, but our own Helen Maynard-Casely gave an invited lecture on "Crystallography that is out of this world!", featuring studies from Mars, Uranus and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.
The event is coordinated with last year's United Nations International Year of Crystallography, and takes place 100 years after the award of the Nobel Prize in Physics to W. H. and W. L. Bragg in 1915.
