At the closing ceremony at the end of this week's successful 2nd Asia-Oceania Conference on Neutron Scattering, in Manly, Jack Binns (a PhD student from University of Edinburgh, but hosted at the Institute) was awarded one of 6 best-poster prizes, for his paper on "Development of High-Pressure Single-Crystal Diffraction on KOALA".
It was also announced that the next conference in the series will take place in 2019 in Southern Taiwan.
