Today, the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency has given approval for us to commence user and commercial operations on both our KOOKABURRA ultra-small-angle neutron scattering instrument and our JOEY neutron Laue crystal-alignment station.
KOOKABURRA is available through the normal peer-reviewed access process.
JOEY can be requested and booked on an ad-hoc basis, and is situated on the TG3 thermal guide, downstream of KOWARI and KOALA. It is operated by Clemens Ulrich’s group at the University of New South Wales.
