Today, ANSTO and the University of Tokyo's Institute for Solid-State Physics are hosting a one-day workshop on the collaborative science performed jointly by Japanese researchers at our OPAL reactor.
The meeting is being held at J-PARC, in Tokai, Japan, and features talks on topics ranging from complex oxides and high-temperature superconductors, through to polyelectrolyte solutions and gels.
Aside from our own Max Avdeev and Elliot Gilbert, there are talks by speakers from Tokyo, Kyoto and Tohoku Universities as well as the Tokyo Institute of Technology. The reported research as all been performed under the agreement signed between ANSTO and University of Tokyo in October 2014.
