This week, the first user experiments have been performed on TAIPAN's beryllium-filter secondary spectrometer, by John Stride and Jessica Onie from the University of New South Wales. The specific experiment was on "Lattice modes of the planar C-H....N supramolecular synthon". Further user experiments will be conducted over the coming weeks.
![]() The beryllium-filter option on TAIPAN was funded in part by an ARC-LIEF grant, led by the Australian Institute for Nuclear Science and Engineering, and involving a large number of Australian universities, along with ANSTO itself. |
