Our Pelican cold-neutron time-of-flight spectrometer has successfully taken its first molecular spectroscopy data, in "neutron energy gain" or "up-scattering" mode.
The experiments on the anti-psychotic drugs Haldol and Abilify, were done as commissioning tests on Pelican, in collaboration with Nicholas Tsapatsaris and Heloisa Bordallo, from the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.
