ANSTO has announced that parents in NSW may use their $100 Creative Kids Voucher issued by the NSW Government for specific school holidays packs (as outlined below).
Using the 2021 voucher, parents can book up to four STEM themed workshops over the next fortnight at no cost.
Package One: Ultimate Science Pack
Choose four of our 90-minute workshops and receive a free science pencil case (valued at $15)

All workshops are 90 minutes long and based at Westfields Miranda. There are three sessions each day starting at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Age suitability is 6 – 12 years of age.
Package Two: Creative STEM Pack
Three-hour 3-D Printing Workshop (two sessions starting at 9:00am and 1:00pm on Monday 11 January at the ANSTO Discovery Centre) +
Three-hour Stop Motion Animation Workshop (two sessions starting at 9:00am and 1:00pm on Tuesday 19 January at the ANSTO Discovery Centre) +
One 90 minute workshop from Package One
Package Three: Technology STEM Pack
Full day Coding with Scratch Workshop (running from 9:30am until 3:00pm on Monday 11 January at the ANSTO Discovery Centre)
OR
Full day EV3 Lego Space Workshop (running from 9:30am until 3:00pm on Thursday 21 January at the ANSTO Discovery Centre) +
One 90-minute workshop from Package One
How to book
Simply email education@ansto.gov.au with the following information for each child:
- Name of the holiday pack
- Names, dates and times for each workshop you would like to book
- Name of the child
- Age
- Parent’s Name
- Parent’s Mobile Number
- Creative Kids Voucher Number
- Any additional information or special requirements about your child

About ANSTO Workshops
ANSTO is passionate about communicating the wonders of science and technology to the next generation of researchers. Every school holidays we deliver a range of workshops aimed at fostering children’s engagement with science while providing them with a safe and happy experience.
Our workshops are fully supervised by experienced science presenters with qualifications in science, teaching and/or science communication. All facilitators are cleared to work with children and all workshops have been risk assessed and adhere to current NSW Government COVID regulations.
