In opening remarks at the Australian Academy of Science Minerals to Medicines: 100 years of X-ray crystallography Symposium, Chief Executive Officer Adi Paterson highlighted the role of ANSTO’s state-of-the-art landmark infrastructure that is at the forefront of Australian crystallography research.

“By providing advanced neutron and X-ray diffraction facilities via the OPAL research reactor and the Australian Synchrotron, we underpin much of the distinctive research that is being presented at the symposium,” said Paterson. He described future plans for the infrastructure to maintain Australian research leadership in crystallography. ANSTO is an official sponsor of the Science at the Shine Dome 2015 event.
