Pip is a passionate creative who is obsessed with applying design thinking to any and every project she can get her hands on, no matter the topic. Since studying UX Design & Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Swinburne and being introduced to the fun way of solving problems with sticky notes and sharpies by Design Factory Melbourne, she hasn’t been able to stay away from the whiteboard. Unusually, Pip fell into and found a love of solving complex problems using a creative approach for tech companies (no, she doesn’t code – far from it). Currently working for Arq Group in Melbourne, Pip recently spent 3 months in New Zealand co-facilitating a data visualisation and consulting bootcamp for career changing Maori and Pacific Island peoples, before they embark into new Analyst roles with the NZ Government. In this environment Pip’s unique facilitation and workshoping skills brought the fun to learning about business, data and technology. Mentoring last year for ANSTO’s hackathon, Pip is excited to be back for another year helping awesome teams solve big problems with a simple formula.
