A new free online incursion for classes participating in Think Science!
Our experienced educators will take students step-by-step through the scientific process for a fun first-hand investigation involving paper planes. The session is expected to take 45-55 minutes. There is also an optional 30-minute follow-up session.
The incursion uses simple classroom materials. The student logbook and plane template will be emailed beforehand.
The first session takes students through developing an investigation question, writing a prediction, fair test requirements, developing a procedure, safety considerations and constructing a table to collect results. The follow-up session, held after results are collected, takes students through processing and analysing their results and evaluating their investigation.
