Young Women in Engineering Trades

This event is for young women in senior high school who are interested in engineering trades, as well as women who are looking for a career change with a focus on trades that have been traditionally male dominated. 

 The tour provides an opportunity to see the work ANSTO does in the areas of health, the environment and delivering solutions for industry. There will be a specific focus on engineering trades, a visit to ANSTO’s workshop and the opportunity to meet with women who work in trades and engineering. Subject to availability, we will visit Australia's only nuclear reactor OPAL, the Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering, the ANSTO Nuclear Medicine facility and the Centre for Accelerator Science.
